SwapText ("we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data when you use our Chrome Extension.

1. Data Collection and Usage

We do not transmit your keystrokes to any external server.

Shortcuts: Your text shortcuts are stored locally on your device or in your Google Chrome Sync storage (controlled by Google). We do not have access to read these shortcuts.
Authentication: We use ExtensionPay to handle authentication and payments. ExtensionPay may collect your email address to link your subscription status to your browser.

2. Permissions

We require specific permissions to function:

Read/Modify Website Content: This is strictly necessary to detect your shortcut keywords and replace them with your desired text. This processing happens entirely locally within your browser.
Storage: Used to save your settings and shortcuts.

3. Third-Party Services

We use Stripe (via ExtensionPay) for payment processing. We do not store or process your credit card information. Please refer to Stripe's Privacy Policy.
